Question 3.
Find the mean of the factors of 24.
Solution :
Various factors of 24 = 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24.
Mean,
$$\bar{x}$$ = Sum of all observations / Total number of observations
= $$\frac{1+2+3+4+6+8+12+24}{8}$$
= $$\frac{60}{8}=\frac{15}{2}$$ = 7.5

Solution :
Range of the data = Highest value – Lowest value = 25.7 – 2.8 = 22.9
